An award-winning coconut chip is described on a food industry Web site as “low fat.”
One ounce of this product is one serving, and it contains 9 grams of fat. Any snack product with over 3 grams of fat is disqualified from use of the term “low fat.” And coconut (the "meat" part) is always high in fat, no matter how you slice/package it.
