Generic Sodium Data for Ham in Recipe

A health reporter touts a recipe for honey-glazed ham, saying it has only 580 mg sodium per serving.

Recipe nutrition data is calculated with database software. When some of the ingredients are commercial/packaged products, the nutrition can vary greatly depending on which brand is used, and in the case of ham, sodium content can range from 400 mg to 1200 mg per 3 oz portion. So the sodium data given for the recipe is meaningless unless the exact brand of the ham is given and the data for that brand is used.
