B12 Only From Animal Products?

A health magazine states that animal products are the only dietary sources of vitamin B-12.
Not exactly. There are many foods fortified with B-12, including nutritional yeast, breakfast cereals, etc. They probably mean “unfortified dietary sources.” Then again, there are trace amounts of B-12 produced by bacteria that grow on various vegetables and fruits. But unless you are eating unwashed, unpeeled organic produce (and mostly the peels), there won’t be much, if any B-12.
