Sodium in Chicken Nuggets

An award-winning health writer states that a serving of chicken nuggets has a “whopping” 360 mg sodium.
If the 360 mg is correct, that’s low compared to most soups, burgers and sandwiches (the bread alone can bring with it 360 mg sodium). Even a bowl of cereal can have almost that much sodium... so for a fast food that is breaded and fried, 360 mg is not “whopping.” This does not mean it is particularly healthy, but teamed with a salad or side of veggies it would be better than most fast food choices.
