Antioxidants in Pasta?

An online health article describes pasta as having significant antioxidant content.
The article shows a photo of white/refined pasta, and says that wholegrain pasta can help with various health conditions due to the antioxidants. While it is true that wholegrain pasta will have more antioxidants than pasta from refined flour (ahem... the one in the photo), that isn’t saying much, because refined-flour pasta has almost none. Wholegrain pasta (depending on the grain) has a little vitamin E, but not much; no vitamin A or C; and not much selenium. Better bets: fruits, vegetables and nuts.
