Labeling for supplement containing dandelion root makes claims for vitamins A & K and liver "detox"

The website for a "detox" nutritional supplement states that dandelion root is high in vitamins A and K. The supplement contains dandelion root extract.

There is no vitamin A or K information showing on the Supplement Facts panel, which causes this product to be mislabeled when making claims for these nutrients. If the panel showed data for those two nutrients, it would show zero, because it is the greens that contain significant amounts of these vitamins, not the root. Additionally, the product is making medical/drug claims about lowering cholesterol, preventing liver damage, etc. This is not permitted in the labeling of a food or supplement.
