Menu Nutrition Labeling Confusion

Various news articles claim that nutrition labeling of made-to-order/custom menu items (allegedly required under "ObamaCare") is a hardship for small restaurants...

The pending federal menu labeling regulations (a component of the Affordable Care Act) only apply to restaurant chains of 20+, and only require nutrition info for each "standard menu item as usually prepared." Nutrition info WILL NOT BE REQUIRED for custom orders, seasonal menu items and daily specials.
